Looking for a special something? We can take prints from people or pets and they make a lovely gift or keepsake for yourself or maybe a Grandparent or Aunt.
Make an appointment with us and bring you little one to the studio to have their hand, foot or paw painted and placed on an item. We will then do the rest. Our in house artist, Rachel Elizabeth will decorate the item and add lovely writing too, personalising it.
Ceramic painted prints prices start from £20. Choose from plates, mugs, plaques or other ceramic items. We offer a wide range of colours and designs. Ready for collection 2 weeks later.
Clay imprints prices start from £35. We offer clay imprints, framed and personalised. Bring your little one in and we will gently press their foot, hand or paw into clay. We will then hand paint the print, add a name and date and finally fire it. This process takes approximately 6 weeks.
NOTE: Pet prints - We can offer both paint and clay prints for your pet. We ask you cut the fur back as close to the paw as possible. This will give the best print.
WHEN BOOKING PLEASE STATE WHETHER YOU WANTED A CLAY OR PAINTED PRINT. Paint is safe and non toxic. Session length approx 20 minutes.

Hand, Foot & Paw Prints
Clay and Wheel Experiences
We offer a variety of clay hand building sessions from making cats and highland cows to fairy houses. We welcome children over the age of 8 years to attend and of course, adults. We are also delighted to have Dave Short (The Pottery Throw Down finalised 2024) teaching with us. He runs a number of clay sessions, including the famous gluggle jugs and wheel experiences.
Kids Classes
There is lots for the kids including paint your own pottery sessions, glass fusing and clay sessions. Just check the age suitability on each class.
Private Group Sessions
We offer Private Group Bookings at no additional cost. Just get a minimum of 5 people together (maximum 12) and let us know what class you want to do and a date. Contact us at thespottydogplace@gmail.com

We can accommodate larger groups but we need to come to a venue of your choice, as the shop can't comfortably sit more than 12 people. We work with many community groups such as girl guides, WIs, Charities and local groups. Contact us at thespottydogplace@gmail.com
